Slack-wire switches
The slack-wire switches from steute are used to monitor rope tension, e.g. on rolling or industrial gates.
As long as the rope tension remains at the correct level, the switch is actuated. If the tension on the rope or wire is relieved, in other words if the rope stretches or even breaks, then the switch reacts and the machine in question comes to a standstill.
Our slack-wire switches are available with slow or snap action, and can be optionally fitted with different actuator rollers.
